Mission Statement
UT’s Advisor Training & Development program is committed to the professional, educational and personal development of all academic advisors involved in the delivery of purposeful, proactive, consistent, and accurate advisement to students.
Training & Development processes include new advisor training and continuing advisor development. Training is delivered using one-on-one and group formats including intensive workshops, monthly seminars, and advisor shadowing. Support resources include web resources, mentoring, and assessment.
