Resident Assistants/Resident Managers

Our Single Student Housing is staffed by live-in Resident Assistants and Resident Managers. These individuals play an important role in promoting on-campus safety. Our Resident Assistants are students who attend Dixie State University and provide support to their peers in their community. Resident Managers are usually a married couple who live in the building and provide management and oversight to the work the RAs perform.

Rounds

Each night, Resident Assistants walk rounds in our facilities and report any suspicious behavior. They also use this time to connect with the students in the halls and discuss the happenings in on-campus housing.

Campus Security

Dixie State University is fortunate to have an on-campus police department. The officers patrol the on-campus housing regularly and are in good communication with the Resident Managers and the main housing staff.
