Dixie State Undergraduate Research encourages all students to participate in scholarly research and creative projects.
What is undergraduate research?
The Council on Undergraduate Research defines undergraduate research as “An inquiry or investigation conducted by an undergraduate student that makes an original intellectual or creative contribution to the discipline.”
Therefore, undergraduate research is any scholarly research or creative work that is conducted as an undergraduate student, that is, before they receive a Bachelor’s degree.
Dixie State will host the ninth annual Utah Conference on Undergraduate Research (UCUR) on February 27, 2015. All students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to attend.
