Ceremony Details

The Dixie State University 109th Commencement Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 1 2020, in Greater Zion Stadium on the DSU campus. The processional will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the ceremony will start immediately following the processional. There will be one ceremony combined with masters, baccalaureate and associate graduates.

The stadium will open at 7 a.m. and guests must be seated by 8:00 a.m. There are no commencement tickets; seating is open for all audience members. Seats may not be saved. Air Horns, posters, cow bells, and helium balloons are not allowed in the commencement ceremony as they block guests views and make it difficult to hear the name of of other graduates being called.

Guests are not permitted on the field during the ceremony.

Parking

DSU parking lots are open to all guests during commencement and are first come first served. A campus map can be found linked below. Please be sure to park in designated parking stalls and locations.

Gifts & Memorabilia

Commencement is an exciting time for all those graduating. Gifts and DSU memorabilia can be purchased at the campus bookstore located on the second floor of the Gardner Student center. The campus store will also be open the day of commencement at the stadium.

Accessibility Services

Graduates and guests with disabilities attending Commencement can request accommodations through the Disability Resource Center by phone at 435-652-7516 (voice). Please give us reasonable prior notice to arrange the specific accommodations you may need. Reserved seating will be available for the hearing impaired. American Sign Language Interpreters will be available upon request.

College Receptions

College Receptions will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020. Join your graduate, their fellow classmates, and their professors as academic awards are presented and light refreshments are served.
